Pastor Mark Smith generally leads the Men's Bible Study that has gathered for years, every Wednesday morning, at the offices of Immanuel Bible Foundation (Broadview Mansion). Mark is the Director of Bible Tracts Inc. located in Bloomington, Illinois. BTI publishes gospel tracts in many languages and gives them away free of charge around the world. He is the Bible teacher on Bible Tracts Echoes, a 15-minute radio broadcast heard nationally and internationally.
Mark has been in full-time ministry since 1975, serving in Baptist churches as an assistant pastor, church planter, and senior pastor. One of his passions is developing and equipping men for leadership in their homes and local churches.
He regularly speaks in churches, conferences, and camps. His focus on evangelism, missions, and Christian growth is done with passion and transparency. He has one goal: Declare the Living Word, Develop a Loving Walk, and Disciple Lives of Worth!
He and his wife Nancy have been married since 1975, and they have three adult children and three grandchildren. We're confident you'll be encouraged by Mark's teaching in these weekly studies.

Daniel Schuetz , countertenor, holds graduate degrees from Michigan State University and the University of Illinois, where he studied the lieder of Schubert with John Wustman. He has taught at Heidelberg University (11 yrs), taught voice at Interlochen Arts Camp, and is currently teaching at Illinois State University (Normal, IL). Joan Schuetz, soprano, studied at the Hochschule fur Musik in Munich, Germany, for four years, and earned a Bavarian State Scholarship. She has studied voice with Gerhard Husch and Hanno Blaschke. She also taught voice at Illinois State University for many years.
Nancy Pounds , piano, has been an active accompanist, chamber musician, and soloist in central Illinois for over twenty-five years. She is an adjunct-faculty member at Illinois Wesleyan University, and also accompanies the low brass studios at Illinois State University. She resides in Bloomington, IL.
